THE DETAILS THAT MATTER
Refund Policy
How refunds and subscription cancellations work for Sylas purchases processed by Paddle.
Effective September 9, 2026
Who handles your purchase
This policy applies to paid Sylas subscriptions and other digital purchases from Zephony Software Private Limited. Sylas does not sell physical goods, so there is no physical product to return.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
When a refund is available
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Paddle may approve a full or partial refund at its discretion when a request is made within 14 calendar days of the transaction. Making a request during that period does not guarantee a refund.
Any statutory withdrawal or refund right available where you live continues to apply. These rights may cover a service that is faulty, materially different from its description, or not fit for purpose. Nothing in this policy limits a mandatory consumer right.
Technical problems
If a persistent technical problem prevents you from accessing the Sylas features you purchased, contact support@getsylas.com first. We will try to resolve the problem. If it cannot be resolved, you can ask Paddle to review the transaction for a refund under its policy and applicable consumer law.
How to request a refund
You can request a refund directly from Paddle by:
- using the “View receipt” or “Manage subscription” link in your Paddle confirmation email;
- using the support link in your receipt; or
- visiting Paddle buyer support and choosing “Request refund”.
Paddle verifies eligibility from its transaction records. If Paddle approves the request, it normally sends the refund to the original payment method where possible and processes it within 14 days of approval. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to make the funds available.
Subscriptions and access
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Cancellation does not itself refund a payment already made. If a payment is refunded, access to the refunded paid service may end.
Paddle’s policy
Paddle’s Refund Policy governs the transactions it processes and explains country-specific rights, eligibility, and review. If this Sylas policy conflicts with Paddle’s buyer terms or refund policy, the Paddle terms that apply to your transaction control, subject to your mandatory consumer rights.
